Claire Ashford

Originally from Hythe, Kent, I moved around a lot in my twenties, spending 9 years in Ireland where I studied Beauty Therapy and Holistic Therapies while living in Dublin City.

I have picked up some more skills along the way but my real love is helping people from the inside out.

I have gained over 8 years experience at a local day centre for adults with learning difficulties teaching catering and core skills.  I also worked from my therapy room from home, recently sharing ownership of an organic day spa before the birth of my son.

I achieved a baby massage instructor and pregnancy massage certificate while pregnant and found an attachment to pregnant mums, I wanted to pamper and nurture them by bringing all my skills together. I then looked more to baby Holistics, took training as a volunteer for local children’s centres and breastfeeding peer support.

I have had a full CRB check and have trained further again with “Birthlight”, in baby yoga, infant nurture and baby massage.

The HolistiCentre is spread over the first floor of a converted stable block on the grounds of the beautiful Broome park estate, just driving in and the relaxation begins, you know you’ve found somewhere special.

Upon arrival upstairs in the HolistiCentre a warm welcome awaits with great facilities; each room has its own botanical name, its large space warrants a map at the entrance clearly marking where you are, where your therapist awaits, where the kitchen is and the gathering room.
